Najja Akinwole is a multi award winning animator from Baltimore, MD who loves crafting anything fantastical and weird. She received her BFA in animation with a minor in illustration from the Maryland Institute of College Art (MICA). She recently won an award for Best of Baltimore for her multi-media thesis film, How Was Your Day?, at the at the International Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Festival. When she isn't creating, Najja spends her time writing her novel, knitting scarves, and reading her current romantasybook obsessions.
